Wasib Muhammad

Name: Wasib Muhammad

Education:
Master of Engineering (Control Systems) Candidate, McMaster University, 2009
Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical Engineering), Ryerson University, 2005
Engineering Intern Training (EIT) program with Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO).

Employment:
Project Design Engineer at Rockwell Automation

Experience:
As a Project Engineer at Rockwell, I have been involved with design and management of projects valued over $5 Million. Also, I have experience leading Lean Six Sigma (LSS) teams resulting in savings of over $10,000 within manufacturing and business systems.

I am also an ER volunteer at Trillium Health Centre, as I was always interested in knowing more about, and contributing to, the community health care system.

Why I chose to volunteer with Endeavour:
I had been interested in management consultancy, and although, I believed there were a few similarities between my current position with Rockwell and a ‘typical’ consultancy position, I wanted to gain consultancy experience while working with seasoned professionals. Furthermore, it provided me with the opportunity to put together my volunteering and work experience in a more meaningful manner.

Endeavour Roles & Project(s):
Information Advisor for the
Seeds of Hope Foundation project
Senior Consultant for the
Fly By Night Theatre Company project.
