Development Officer at a private university in Toronto. Worked as a Major Gifts fundraiser soliciting and receiving gifts ranging from $5,000 to $35,000.
Associate Intern at a non-profit consulting group. Clients included: Women’s College Hospital, University of Guelph and Royal Conservatory of Music.
Volunteered in Uganda in 2005 for 3 weeks and in Kenya in 2006 for 3 months.
Why I chose to volunteer with Endeavour:
After completing a Graduate Certificate in Fundraising and Volunteer Management, I wanted to invest my skills and knowledge for the betterment of a sector that is near and dear to my heart. I currently work to help charities move from “good” to “great” but all my clients are large and are able to afford our services. I hope to invest my skills while having the opportunity to attain new ones while volunteering with Endeavour by working with “grassroots” organizations who need a helping hand to do good by becoming great.
