Event Videographer
Endeavour is looking for a committed and flexible individual to record and create videos of our events. Videos and clips will be used as part of volunteer training, archived in an online resource centre, shared with members, and used in our promotional materials and events.
About Endeavour Volunteer Consulting for Non-Profits (Endeavour)
Founded in 2007 by a team of University of Toronto alumni, Endeavour Volunteer Consulting for Non-Profits (Endeavour) brings together skilled volunteers to provide pro-bono management consulting to non-profit and social mission organizations in Toronto and neighbouring cities. Endeavour is currently led by eight executives and five advisors working in consulting, industry, the public sector, and academia. To learn more about us, visit www.endeavourvolunteer.ca.
Volunteer Role
The videographer needs to be available to attend the following events in downtown Toronto:
- Weekend Events for Volunteer Consulting Teams:
o Orientation (a full day on Saturday/Sunday in October & May each year)
o Midterm Review (a Saturday/Sunday afternoon in January & August each year)
o Final Event (a Saturday/Sunday afternoon in April & November each year) - Weekday Evening Events for General Public:
o Monthly seminar series
Additional events may be added in the future.
This is a great opportunity for the professional, amateur or hobbyist to build his/her portfolio. Our events also offer a great opportunity to learn more about management consulting and the non-profit sector, and to meet professionals and university students from various fields. Requirements
We’re looking for someone who:
- Can commit to attending all of our events for the full duration and video the entire event, with a focus on the presenters
- Can create full-length videos and video clips for online viewing and archiving, and showing at events
- Owns the required equipment and software
