Endeavour provides management consulting to enable non-profit leaders to improve organizational performance and social impact. We are a volunteer organization that serves non-profits that otherwise cannot afford professional consulting. Since 2007, Endeavour has recruited and managed more than 200 volunteers to provide management advice to non-profits helping communities in many areas, such as the arts, children and family services, disabilities, education, environment, healthcare, immigrant services, rural development, skills training, poverty relief, and youth development. Joining the Executive Team

Role & Responsibilities

Endeavour is looking for an experienced web developer to join our Executive Team as Director of Information Technology (IT). You will play an integral role in enhancing the visibility, profile and reach of a young and growing non-profit. Responsibilities of this portfolio include the following:

Website

• Lead the IT team in maintaining Endeavour’s website at http://www.endeavourvolunteer.ca/
  
• Modify WordPress and other PHP software to suit the organization’s needs
• Maintain a MySQL database consisting of online registration information

Domain / E-mail

• Maintain Endeavour’s web domain names and DNS records
  
• Set up and maintain Endeavour’s E-mail addresses from Google Apps

Projects

• Providing technical expertise and support on projects as required

Executive

• Contributing to the organization’s strategic directions and growth, including participating in Executive Team meetings

Requirements:

We are looking for someone who fits the following profile to join our team as the IT Director:

• Experience in PHP, MySQL, and HTML required
  
• Experience with WordPress, Google Apps, and Java Script preferred
• Ability to collaborate and deliver results in a virtual work environment
