Peter Yung, Peter Yung Photography Blog “It was from volunteering for non profits that my passions for photography and the school community caught fire. When I was recommended Endeavour, it was an offer I couldn’t refuse.” Peter is a self taught photographer who made his debut volunteering for the student union at the University of Toronto, Scarborough Campus in 2006. In the complement of campus spirit, sense of community and a growing love for photography, Peter went on to change the face of the university campus through his pictures. From the establishment of a volunteer photography network and a photography club, Peter also went on to become the photo editor for the school paper and an assistant to Photography Professor, David Hlynsky. Peter currently shoots events and weddings part-time and looks forward to continuing sharing the enjoyment of photography. |
3. Congratulations to Client: Food For The Poor Canada Opens New School in Jamaica
|
Congratulations to former Endeavour client, Food For The Poor Canada (FFPC), on the opening of a new school in Jamaica this September. In partnership with Helping Hands Jamaica Foundation and Food For The Poor Jamaica, FFPC built a school in Seaforth, St Thomas to replace the building that had been lost 8 years before. The school had been sharing the community center with footballers, dances and local events. Watch a video of the school opening! FFPC, a Canadian charity, works in aid and development in the Caribbean and Latin America. It was created out of the mission and vision of the largest international aid agency in the US, Food For The Poor, Inc., which over the last 27 years has built 55,000 homes, fed and clothed millions of people, and in 2008 delivered $1.5 billion in aid and development throughout 16 countries in the Caribbean and Latin America. To learn more about FFPC, visit the Food For The Poor Canada website and Facebook fan page. Endeavour worked with FFPC on two consulting engagements from Spring 2009 to Winter 2010, providing recommendations on target markets and building brand awareness.
