Organization

Ecologos Institute is an applied research, demonstration and action network of volunteers, with a core unit in Toronto.  Its aim is to help educate, motivate and inspire the ‘people-power’ needed to make the shift to a sustainable, economically vital and socially just society.  Years of research and interviews with experts in many fields led to Ecologos’ innovative Image Shifting educational pedagogy, which underpins all its initiatives.

Ecologos is now helping to inspire the next wave of awareness shifting and concrete action by creating and producing high-impact public transformative ‘edu-tainment’ experiences which meet three strategic aims:  (1) they attract large numbers because they are entertaining and fun; (2) they offer transformative educational experiences that change minds and hearts and inspire a commitment to action; and (3) they provide on-the-spot opportunities for volunteers to commit to and sign up for action projects in their own communities.
