“The Canadian Civil Liberties Education Trust (CCLET) is looking forward to working with the Endeavour team on the That’s Not Fair Project. With the assistance of Endeavour, we hope to see children in grades 2-5 engaged with the lively and entertaining stories designed by CCLET to promote critical thinking about democratic values. “
Organization
The Canadian Civil Liberties Association (CCLA) is a national organization that was constituted in 1964 to promote respect for and observance of fundamental human rights and civil liberties. CCLA’s work, which includes research, public education and advocacy aims to defend and ensure the protection and full exercise of those rights and liberties. In 1965, CCLA established the Canadian Civil Liberties Education Trust (CCLET) for the promotion and dissemination of knowledge and understanding amongst the general public of the rights, liberties and duties of all citizens and public servants; the promotion of research into social and other allied fields of study with particular reference to such rights, liberties and duties; and the publication or the procuring of publication of the results of such research by means of books, pamphlets, films, lectures and all other suitable media.
