The Always Nubian, Always Scarborough Association (A.N.A.S.A.) Collective, A Trustee Program of Schools Without Borders is a not-for-profit initiative administered by its charitable partner, Schools Without Borders. It is an emerging organization determined to invest in the prosperity of women of colour. A.N.A.S.A.’s mission is to support under-serviced girls and women through their growth and developmental changes from a holistic perspective. Learn more about this project The Canadian Civil Liberties Education Trust (CCLET) is the educational arm of The Canadian Civil Liberties Association (CCLA), a national organization that was constituted in 1964 to promote respect for and observance of fundamental human rights and civil liberties. In 1965, CCLA established the Canadian Civil Liberties Education Trust (CCLET) for the promotion and dissemination of knowledge and understanding amongst the general public of the rights, liberties and duties of all citizens and public servants; the promotion of research into social and other allied fields of study with particular reference to such rights, liberties and duties; and the publication or the procuring of publication of the results of such research by means of books, pamphlets, films, lectures and all other suitable media. Learn more about this project International Association for Medical Assistance to Travellers (IAMAT), is a division of the Foundation for Support of International Medical Training, Inc. IAMAT’s mission is to provide impartial and accurate travel health advice and to coordinate an international network of qualified medical practitioners to assist travellers in need of emergency medical care during their trip. The organization’s goal is to prevent the spread of infectious diseases by travellers. Endeavour Consulting Project IAMAT has engaged Endeavour to help explore new directions for the organization that will enable it to make a greater impact in the field of travel medicine. Learn more about this project Motion’s Youth and Community Centre (MY.CC) is a non-profit in the seed stages of development. It currently provides a minimal number of services in the Pickering community, including March Break camp. MY.CC’s goal is to operate 7 days a week catering to the community residents of Pickering and surrounding area. The Centre will provide the community with a central location where youth may gather safely for recreational activities, receive assistance on their academic assignments and enjoy the positive influence of qualified supervision. WHEN actively promotes the primary prevention of environmentally linked health conditions such as cancer, asthma, immune system related conditions and others by advocating the reduction of toxic emissions; more efficient, renewable energy sources; affordable public transportation; a shift to safe production models, biological agriculture and lawn care and more. KINSA’s mandate is to help law enforcement find these children, rescue them and help them heal. Learn more about this project Working Skills Centre (WSC) is a community-based, non-profit organization that supports immigrants. WSC’s purpose is to encourage economic self-sufficiency and the successful integration of immigrants, primarily women, into Canadian society. Endeavour Consulting Project Windfall was established in 1991 to assist homeless and emergency shelters meet their client’s needs for new clothing. Today, Windfall is an award-winning, registered charity that receives donations of new clothing and personal care items, small household goods and school backpacks. The charity works in partnership with over 90 community-based social service agencies to ensure that donated items are reaching clients who are enrolled in programs leading to their independence. Now in its 17th year of operation, Windfall has proven itself to be one of Canada’s most cost-effective charities, putting over $25 worth of basic-needs items into the hands of people in need for every $1 spent to operate its programs. Endeavour Consulting Project Somali Family & Child Skills Development Services (SFCSDS) was established in 1992 by members of Somali Community who were aware of the lack of services to develop the skills and promote the social welfare of the community, especially women and children and youths. SFCSDS helps families, children and youth realize their full potential through collaborations with community organizations to develop integrated community-building skills, indigenous leadership, and community-building creativity in order to build local capacity and achieve greater economic, social, cultural, and human development. Endeavour Consulting Project Although SFCSDS has been in existence for over 17 years, the organization and its services are not visible to the community. Endeavour has been engaged to develop a marketing strategy, including identifying SFCSDS’ core competencies, current client constituency, needs of the current client base and the services it should focus on, to increase the visibility and branding of the organization in its community and riding. Learn more about this project Seeds of Hope Foundation (SHF) is a unique, community-based charity that strives to open new doors for people who are at a crossroads in their lives, by supporting each individual’s gifts and talents while encouraging them to discover a passion for helping others. SHF’s model of shared learning, fellowship and action enhances livelihood, educational, and employment opportunities for individuals who face systemic barriers of homelessness, mental health challenges and addictions. Rather than relying on institutional methods, SHF’s model taps into the “genius of local communities” and focuses on guiding people who feel excluded or isolated back into the realm of community. Endeavour Consulting Project Epilepsy Halton Peel (EHP), founded in 2008 and a member of Epilepsy Ontario, is a charitable organization dedicated to improving the quality of life, independence and community support, for persons living with epilepsy. EHP offers programs and services not to just meet the needs of its members, but also strives to offer education and public awareness to all diverse areas of the community. Endeavour Consulting Project Although EHP’s programs and needs assessment are complete, it is a new organization which requires long-term planning. EHP has engaged Endeavour to assist with the development of a formal strategic plan. Endeavour Consulting Project The Canadian Hearing Society (CHS) Endeavour Consulting Project Meal Exchange (MX) is a national student-founded, youth-driven, registered charity organized to address local hunger by mobilizing the talent and passion of students. Since 1993, MX programmes have been run on over 50 campuses across Canada and generated over $2 million dollars worth of food or 727,200 meals to address local hunger. Endeavour was engaged by Meal Exchange in Fall 2008 to conduct a pre-feasibility study of cause-related marketing partnerships with the corporate sector. It nurtures young theatre artists and at the same time directs its proceeds toward supporting international development. It was created out of the mission and vision of the largest international aid agency in the US, Food For The Poor, Inc., which over the last 27 years has built 55,000 homes, fed and clothed millions of people, and last year delivered 1.5 billion dollars in aid and development throughout 16 countries in the Caribbean and Latin America.

Association for Bright Children of Ontario (ABC Ontario) is an all-volunteer, provincially incorporated support and advocacy group, with a provincial executive and local chapters across Ontario. It is dedicated to providing information and support to parents of bright and gifted children/adolescents through newsletters, networking, an annual conference and local workshops. It offers the parents’ voice to local school boards, educators, professional groups and the Ontario Ministry of Education and Training.

Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) Réadaptation Psychosociale (RPS) Canada is an association of individuals and organizations committed to the provision and growth of psychosocial rehabilitation services to support the recovery of persons with serious mental health issues. The Association promotes psychosocial rehabilitation principles and the growth of psychosocial rehabilitation practices in Canada.
The Ontario Rural Council (TORC) is a non-profit organization that brings together forty member organizations and other rural stakeholders to inform and influence rural policy, programs and research development. TORC members represent non-profit organizations, private sector corporations, the public sector, and individuals with specialized expertise and resources.
Eritrean Youth Coalition (EYC) is a loosely based non-partisan coalition of youth ages 18 to 30. Through HIV/AIDS awareness for youth, mentorship programs for youth by youth and employment counselling services, EYC aims to build capacity for change in the Eritrean diaspora.
