Volunteer Profiles

Name:  Rashid Abu-Ghazalah

Education:
Hons. B.Sc. Toxicology.
Ph.D. Candidate Pharmaceutical Sciences(August/2008)
University of Toronto

Experience:
I am currently involved with a couple of NGOs promoting human rights primarily in the Middle East, by organizing events for the general public and by presenting our findings to our elected leaders in Ottawa.
Previously, I volunteered at the S.O.S. Orphanage Village in Amman, Jordan. I helped surrogate mothers with children’s homework and worked at the local bakery in the Village itself.

Why I chose to volunteer with Endeavour:
Non-profits are an integral part of our society and as such I would like be part of a team that would help these organizations grow and function in an efficient manner.

Endeavour Roles & Project(s):
Consultant for ABC Ontario project.
