Experience:
Ehab has volunteered at the Centre of Addiction and Mental Health as a General
Education Development (GED) Instructor for students in their recovery stages of
schizophrenia. He has also volunteered with the Aphasia Institute as a
Communication Facilitator, assisting aphasiac (a speech-language disorder)
members using Supported Conversation for Adults, which is a is a set of
techniques that includes using spoken and written keywords, gesture and body
language, hand drawings, and pictographs designed to support conversation on
complex topics.
Why I chose to volunteer with Endeavour:
Two reasons I joined Endeavour are meeting new people and helping people in need. I’m
always looking forward to working with a diverse team to achieve one goal.
Helping benevolent organizations assist people in need, especially individuals
with disabilities, provides a sense of satisfaction for me.
