Endeavour Volunteer Consulting for Non-Profits

Endeavour provides management consulting to enable non-profit leaders to improve organizational performance and social impact. We are a volunteer organization that serves non-profits that otherwise cannot afford professional consulting. Since 2007, Endeavour has recruited and managed more than 200 volunteers to provide management advice to non-profits helping communities in many areas, such as the arts, children and family services, disabilities, education, environment, healthcare, immigrant services, rural development, skills training, poverty relief, and youth development.

Non-profit project application for Spring/Summer 2012 consulting engagements is now closed

The next steps for client selection for Spring/Summer 2012 consulting engagements are following:

Application Screening: January 9 to 22, 2012
Interviews with potential candidates - January 23 - February 10, 2012 (potential candidates will be notified by January 26, 2012)
Projects begins - March 18, 2012 and ends September/October, 2012

The application for Fall/Winter 2012/13 consulting engagements will open again in the end of March, 2012 and the deadline for submitting the application is July 8, 2012

Recommending Problems

A colleague described to me an epiphany she had about what it means to be a management consultant, reflecting on her more than ten year career in advisory services in the public sector: â€œWe recommend problemsâ€. What an insight! Most of us call this â€œframing the problemâ€. But Recommend Problems resonates more, especially in the context of providing advice to small non-profit organizations.

Mixing It Up!

On August 4th, Endeavour held another successful mixer at the new ING Direct Centre in downtown Toronto. About 100 current and prospective enthusiastic volunteers came out for an evening of networking and great conversation.
